To the Stellar Community Fund Verified Panel

Hi Everyone,

It’s great to be back after 2 years hiatus. Nice to see lots of familiar handles in discord and the usual suspects still going above and beyond for the community, you know who you are. Everything is looking very fresh feels like a good time to be back. New website, upgraded discord channels, Neural Quorum Governance (NQG) live and Soroban of course. Also that big elephant in the room is pretty much eating out of our hands now, well done.

A brief history. I bought my first lumens in 2017 (when smartlands was a thing;). I got involved with Daniel and Public Node, when Brian had a podcast and Sam was getting started with his YouTube. I started participating in the Stellar Community Fund back in 2020 in the good ol Keybase days and was one of the first batch of verified members. I actively participated and voted in most of the rounds through 2020, 2021 and half of 2022. I voted for lots of projects like Leaf Global fintech, litemint before NFT’s were a thing, Script and many more. Blue Marble got me on their podcast as I was advising them on their project for a while. I submitted the following proof of concept to the doc sprint for the 2021 meridian. Also participated in the frothy JPEG DAO, in particular the philanthropy committee. I am pretty excited about NQG as I had been following common stack years back and voted for Dexter’s Insta DAO the first DAO tool on stellar. But you won’t have to take my word for it soon because the voting history neuron (dang WordPress doesn’t know how to spell neuron either) will be on chain and you will be able to query it as I will be happy to expose it. Voting history neuron, reputation neuron and trust neuron that sounds like Real Intelligence (RI) to me all on chain, sooo good.

And if I’m not feeling up for voting I can relax and still contribute and delegate my vote to my trusted hommies (aka quorum). Which I’m going to do for Q4 2024.

Bit of background. I am a non technical person. I came to stellar through a project called Poseidon that was working on Green finance, I was working with an indigenous community in the amazon and Poseidon were looking to put the carbon credits from these projects onto stellar. For the record I didn’t vote for Poseidon when they applied to the fund.

This time round I am planning to roll up my sleeves and get more technical, I got my first Stellar quest so feeling like a start. This site is the result of my studies over the last couple of months as I am reintegrating back into the stellar community.

Check it out.
